Cost

Children's Races: The cost for all kids races is $10.00 for pre-registration.  In order to receive the pre-registration price, your application must be postmarked by September 21st. Registration fee includes T-shirt. You can also register on race day for $15.00.

5K: The cost for the 5K is $20.00 for pre-registration.  In order to receive the pre-registration price, your application must be postmarked by September 21st.  You can also register on race day for $25.00. College students can register for $15. Registration fee includes T-shirt.

Awards

Schedule of Events

Saturday, September 26th

4:30pm: Race Day Registration for all events

5:30pm:  1/4 Mile Race (Ages 6 and Under)

5:45pm: 1/2 Mile Race (Ages 12 and Under)

6:00pm:  Children's Races Awards

6:30pm:  Chick-fil-A 5k

This certified 5K course runs down both historic Belmont Boulevard and 12th Avenue South. Following is the course route: 

Open for anyone who wants to run or walk. This event will feature some of the top local talent.  Although the competition at the front of the pack promises to be hot and heated, we expect runners of all ages and abilities to participate in what promises to be a memorable event.   Last year's winner clocked the fastest 5k time in the state of Tennessee for 2008 in 14:51.  This course is USATF certified. 

See above for details. The post race party will include a variety of food, activities and door prizes.          

 

Other Activities

-         Other fun activities for the kids will be going on throughout the afternoon.

-         Plenty of great door prizes will be given out.

-    Plenty of other food and drinks will be available for everyone.

-    Chick-fil-A Sandwiches will be available to all participants.

Directions to Belmont University campus

From I-440 West: Take I-440 West and exit at 21st Avenue (heading north). After about 1 mile, bear right onto Magnolia Boulevard and turn right again at Wedgewood Avenue. After turning onto Wedgewood, you will see Belmont's main administration building on your right. To get to the parking garage, turn right on 15th Avenue, go to the second stop sign (Bernard Ave), turn right, and the Parking garage entrance will be on your right.

From I-40 East: Take I-440 East and exit at 21st Avenue. Go north (toward downtown Nashville). Turn right onto Magnolia Boulevard and right again at Wedgewood Avenue. After turning onto Wedgewood, you will see Belmont's main administration building on your right. To get to the parking garage, go past the administration building, turn right on 15th Avenue, go to the second stop sign (Bernard Ave), turn right, and the Parking garage entrance will be on your right.
